The Fictional Multiverse

At the heart of SLUGGER PUNCH lies a captivating concept of parallel universes and ever-evolving characters, akin to a role-playing game or a novel. This narrative is re-imagined annually under the guidance of USHIO, who oversees and scouts for new artistic ventures.
Slugger Punch is not just a "Guild" of artists. Parallel to their activities and works, they have developed with and for their audience a sort of bizarre universe in which their characters move. Imagine an alternative world very similar to ours, dominated by a secret society of men enemies of freedom and free expression, an anti-utopia that has become a reality in which dimensional and time travel are the only escape routes and source of income. These "distortions" between universes, realities and epochs, under the treacherous control of the Corrupted Congregation, led to the birth of rebel gangs and mercenaries ready to oppose, Slugger Punch, is the first guild of the latter, which has dealt severe blows and given humanity hope to get up again.
In this sort of parody of universes, poised between art, dreamlike dimensions and fantastic characters from different cultures, it would not be difficult to meet a Murakami intent on sipping tea with Lovecraft in a 40s-style Maid Café, but ... with wifi, retro video games and a background of modern J-Pop music to frame it all. But this is only a glimpse of our story, one of the many that could be told or experienced firsthand by taking the first steps in the "Slugger Punch" universe:
“The band of mercenaries and sarcastic scoundrels, try in their various missions and adventures to find the "Muses", the only divine entities escaped from the control of the Corrupted Coven, these creatures would be able to shape and re-balance reality once and for all, eliminating the injustices created by their enemies forever. Slugger Punch has repeatedly faced monsters, trash artists or adepts of all sorts and natures affiliated with the nefarious alliance, these turbulent opponents (pawns or lieutenants of the Coven) are called "CringOn". After the previous final confrontation and the discovery of the muse "Ai" in alternate Tokyo, the guild established several cells of their fighters and collaborators in different countries for their research. The Slugger Punch are still busy being hired to eliminate dimensional threats, lethal creatures and thwart the plots of the Corrupted Coven… before finally eradicating their threat from every known universe and reality!”
